Just in time for the release of our new Seasonal Chocolate Collection, three of our newest chocolate flavours have been awarded prizes at the 2013 Canadian National Chocolate Awards. Most recently seen in September's Union Pack, our 'Whole Cherry' chocolate was awarded SILVER, and one of January's most unique creations, the 'Fisherman's Friend' was awarded GOLD. A second GOLD was awarded to one of our newest flavours, a Bay Leaf ganache crafted from milk chocolate and fresh bay leaves.
Our chocolates weren't the only winners at this week's competition, as one of our newest Polygon Bars brought home a GOLD. Crafted in collaboration with Giovane Café at the Fairmont Pacific Rim, this white chocolate bar studded with pieces of candied Taggiasca olives raised a few eyebrows with the judges.
Next up, the winners head to London to compete in the International Chocolate Awards held in conjunction with London Chocolate Week on October 15 and 16.
We'll be celebrating the the Canadian honours in-store this weekend with all of the award-winners, and look out for our collection of Fall flavours to be released in early October.
